Every photo you take is a record of your work. A clear, well-framed photo makes sure your work is recognized — and gets you fast, helpful feedback.
The 6 rules
1. Light up the room. Turn on all the lights before you shoot. Don't use flash — it washes out surfaces.
2. Shoot at eye level. Hold your phone at chest or eye height. Not from the floor, not from above. Keep the camera straight, facing the wall.
3. Show the whole area. Step back until the full zone fits in the frame. Don't zoom in.
4. Hold steady. Use both hands. Pause for a second before you tap the shutter. Blurry photos can't be used.
5. Match the reference. Look at the reference photo in the app first. Stand in the same spot, use the same angle.
6. Keep the frame clean. No feet, hands, mop heads, or carts in the picture. Just the cleaned area.

Room-by-room tips
Restrooms. Turn on all lights — restrooms are darker than you think. Capture the full stall: toilet, floor, and door in one shot. For sinks, stand back so the counter, sink, mirror, and taps are all visible. No cleaning supplies on the counters. Angle slightly away from mirrors so you're not in the picture.
Lobby, offices and workstations. For lobbies, stand at the entrance and frame the whole floor and reception desk. For offices, shoot from the doorway so the desk and floor are both visible. Trash bins should be in the frame — emptied and upright. Entrance mats fully visible and flat. If there's a bright window, shoot away from it.
Kitchen and break room. Show the full counter, including the sink. Fridge and microwave doors closed and visible. Include the floor — shoot from a corner of the room. No dishes, food, or personal items in the shot.
Hallways and common areas. Stand at one end and shoot the full length. Keep baseboards and floor edges in the frame. Include water fountains or notice boards if they're part of your FotoFlow. Don't shoot toward windows or bright exits. Move carts out of the frame first.
